Journals

Journals are to be completed weekly by the students and turned in on Monday by class in my box in 103 or to me in class. You must write for 20 minutes for each weekly journal entry.

Sometimes I will give you a specific prompt that you MUST do, but often you may write about whatever topic that you would like to in your journal.

Here is a list of topics that you may find interesting to write about:

• How do you feel about war
• A secret talent
• Your dream job
• Life as an ESL student
• Who is your hero?
• Favorite food
• Something that is unfair
• The difference between your native culture and American culture
• Your last job
• Why writing is important
